Are there other registration packages available?

Group package: Purchase ten (10) Full Conference passes and receive one (1) free Full Conference registration pass. Note that the 10 full conference passes must be purchased at one time using the group discount package during registration.

Day pass: $1,000—Provides one-day access on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Specific day must be selected at time of registration. Day pass includes: Welcome Reception (Mon only), education sessions, General Sessions (Tues and Wed only), Academies, The Hub with hands-in demos, partner exhibits, and Speed Sessions. Does NOT include the Customer Appreciation Event.

The Hub Only pass: $800—Gives you access to The Hub for all three days, including the Welcome Reception on Monday night, demos, partner exhibits, and Speed Sessions, and the General Sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday. It does NOT include the Customer Appreciation Event.

What are the Inforum 2017 cancellation policy and fees?

Conference cancellations received or postmarked no later than March 22, 2017, will not be charged a cancellation fee. Conference cancellations received or postmarked March 23 through June 7, 2017, will be refunded less a $300 processing fee per registration. No refunds will be given for any Inforum registration cancellations received or postmarked after June 7, 2017. Processing fees will be deducted from the refund being provided to the registrant. Refunds will not be provided to individuals who are no-shows to the event. Cancellation requests not received in writing will not be honored. Fees and costs associated with the cancellation of any travel reservations and/or hotel reservations are the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.

What are the accepted registration fee payment options?

Registration fees can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), check, or wire transfer.

Check or wire transfer payments should be received within 15 business days upon completing your registration otherwise your registration may be at risk of being cancelled. Ensure payment is not part of any other Infor payments other than for Inforum.
Registrant’s name and invoice number should be referenced on the check/wire transfer.

I have registered but can no longer attend; can another person go in my place?

All substitutions must be sent in writing via email to inforumsupport@infor.com. No fee will be charged for processing substitutions.

Are group discounts available?

Yes, purchase 10 Full Conference passes and receive 1 free Full Conference registration pass. Note that the 10 full conference passes must be purchased at one time using the group discount package during registration.

Is a guest package available for Inforum 2017?

The Welcome Reception guest pass is $100, and the Customer Appreciation Party guest pass are available for $200. Both special passes must be purchased with a Full Conference pass. Guests are not permitted to attend the conference sessions. Guest passes can be purchased at time of registration or on-site at Inforum. All guest pass purchases are based upon availability. Please note guests must be 21 years of age or older.

Can my guest walk through The Hub/Expo?

Your guest may only be present in The Hub during the Welcome Reception. During all other times, only conference attendees are allowed in sessions or The Hub.

What type of sessions will be available to me?

The full track listings and session catalog will be available early March 2017, so check back to learn more about Inforum 2017 education opportunities. Types of sessions will include (but are not limited to):

  • Product sessions: Dive deeper into product features and functionality targeted to your needs (from beginners to advanced users).

  • Speed Sessions: Make the most of your time and attend short, focused sessions on a variety of industry and product topics.

What is the Agenda Builder and when will it be open on the website?

The Agenda Builder is an online tool that allows you to build your own personal schedule for the conference. By using the online session catalog, you can add sessions to your agenda, as well as include personal appointments. The Agenda Builder will be available early May and via a mobile tool on-site at the event.

What are Academy sessions?

Academy sessions are limited-size, hands-on computer lab classes offered across a number of products and a variety of topics. Advance registration is required via the Agenda Builder for Academy sessions, and participants are limited to two sessions to ensure all customers have the opportunity to experience these valuable environments.

When can I register for sessions and Academies?

You will be able to register for sessions and Academies in early May 2017 via the Agenda Builder tool. Please note only two Academies allowed per registered attendee.

How do I book a hotel using the special Inforum rates?

Hotel reservations at designated Inforum hotels with the special negotiated Inforum rates are accessible at the end of the online registration process or you can complete your registration and log in later to book a hotel room. Rooms must be booked by early June 2017.

Can I book my hotel before I register for the conference?

No, you make your hotel reservation when you register for Inforum 2017. Please note: While booking your hotel reservation is part of the registration process, your hotel cost is in addition to the registration fee.

When will I receive a hotel confirmation?

Confirmations of hotel reservations come directly from the conference hotels and will be sent approximately two weeks prior to Inforum 2017.

Will my hotel room be charged for the room guarantee?

No, the credit card provided upon making hotel reservations through Inforum registration is being used only to guarantee the room and will not be charged. All fees for the hotel need to be paid upon check out. The card provided can be changed upon check-in at the hotel if preferred. Please note: Some hotels have varying cancellation policies. Failure to check into the hotel or to cancel a reservation as outlined on your confirmation may result in credit card charges to your account.

If I hold my hotel room with a credit card, can I pay by check or cash on-site?

This varies between hotels, some only take cash or credit card and no company or personal checks.

How do I make changes to my existing hotel reservation?

You can modify an existing reservation within the Housing section of your Inforum registration account. This can be done only until June 14, 2017. After this date, all reservation requests will be transferred to the Inforum hotels for entry into their systems. Once their systems are updated, you can contact them directly for any modifications.

Transportation

Where is the closest parking garage? How do I get to the Javits Center by car?

There is no on-site parking at the Javits Center. However, there are many parking garages in the vicinity. The average price for event day parking usually starts at around $50 a day and is subject to change depending on Javits Center’s activity. What and where are the closest major airports?

The New York metropolitan area is serviced by three major airports: JFK International, Newark International, and LaGuardia Airport.

Travel time by taxi from the airports to midtown Manhattan varies by airport. Travel time from LaGuardia to midtown can take 25-40 minutes; JFK 45–60+ minutes; and Newark 40–60 minutes.

JFK International Airport: To and from JFK and any location in Manhattan is a flat fare of $25 (tolls, surcharges of $0.50, $0.30, and tip are extra). To and from JFK and other locations will be charged as metered fares.

Newark International Airport: The fare is metered and ranges $50–$75 (tolls, $17.50 Newark surcharge, and tip are extra). During weekday rush hours (6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.) and on weekends (Sat–Sun, 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.), there is a $5 surcharge for travel to anywhere in New York State, except Staten Island.

LaGuardia Airport: The fare is metered and ranges from $29–$37 (tolls, surcharges, and tip are extra).

Javits Center official transportation partner, Super Shuttle/Golden Touch Transportation Services, can arrange shuttle services to and from the airports as well as transportation by private or shared limousine. Located at the taxi drop-off on the Concourse level, Super Shuttle/Golden Touch can also be reached by phone at 800.258.3826 or online at: www.goldentouchtransportation.com or www.supershuttle.com
